Hey.

At university, I gained a degree in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, in which I developed deep and broad thinking skills, but also got to play rugby, one of my passions. What I love about rugby, and sports in general, is working and growing as a team, improving together and winning. As much as my previous role in retail equipped me with professionalism, teamwork and customer service, I knew I wanted more of a challenge and still had a desire to learn, so I decided on a career change...
...I discovered the world of coding through family, they suggested I tried a free 5 day course, and from then I felt hooked. I quickly enrolled in the General Assembly Software Engineering Immersive course to develop and grow my skills. I was amazed by the possibilities with coding, and how I could impact the world. As my skills continue to improve, I can't wait to feed my desire for learning every day in my next role, as I’m excited about what the future might bring in this field.
I began developing my skills at a 12-week immersive online course at General Assmbely. Consisted of daily lectures and workshops, which varied from solo coding, pair-coding, and group work. During my time, I completed four projects which were done across the course, with all different timed deadlines. The course covered the fundamentals of web development in front end and back end.
All the frontend and backend skills I have learnt during my coding journey...
